Help me deal with dry food

Good day, dear forum users. I’m new here and I don’t know, maybe there was already such a topic, but I probably didn’t find it (I read a lot, in my head, I could and miss it) ask me to explain the instructions on the packaging with food correctly. Now we are eating Royal Canin Mini Junior. There, the sign indicates the following information: the weight and age of the dog. So the daily dose for the puppy is written, with its weight of 2 kg there should be 48 g. I. E. I should divide these 48 gr into 5-6 receptions? Or you need to look at what weight my girl will have when she grows up, that is (roughly speaking), let her weigh 10 kg in adulthood, then now I have to give her (in her 2 months almost) not 48 gr, but145?

Ollo-Xa, I'm sorry, where does this sign come from? On a pack of food is exactly the same? She's strange. If you follow the logic, then with the weight of an adult dog of 10 kg, at 2 months it should eat 145g, in 6 months 183 g, and in 10 for some reason only 131 gr.

And in 10 for some reason only 131 gr.

On many feeds, as they grow older, the daily norm falls, because The puppy grows and it needs a lot of nutrients, and when it has grown, they reduce the dose. For example, the same akana does not have special feed for puppies and it is written on ordinary packaging that puppies need to give a double portion from the mass of an adult dog, juniors of 1. 5 portions and when it grows – a single according to a calculated plate.

Ollo-XA, according to your table with the weight of an adult dog 10 kg (and Biglie even more a bit), the norm for a two-month puppy 145 gr. And divide this portion into 5 doses. As a rule we give a little more)))

So a tablet for dogs for dogs of mini-dimensions) You need a different feed, for medium-sized dogs) in terms of the difference in the amount of feed, also a big difference in these feeds.

Oh, this is an eternal mistake of beginners. Almost all manufacturers of dry feed give a layout of the daily dose of feeding puppies by the weight of the adult dog. In your case, we look at the upper line, we find the value corresponding to the weight of the adult big (13-15 kg), and it is in this column that we look at the daily dose of feeding at the corresponding age, the value of which we look at the first column. Of course this is not 48 g))) We break the daily norm into the amount of feeding and get the amount that you need to give the puppy for one feeding. And yes:
